Daca l-ai ascultat vreodata mixand pe George Stanca aka Notsocommon Dj, cu siguranta ti-a atras atentia prin stilul sau care, asa cum ii spune si numele insusi, este departe de a fi „commonâ€?.

Pentru el muzica este mai mult decat o pasiune. Este un stil de viata pe care si-l cultiva atent. Influentele pe care nu ai cum sa nu le simti in stilul sau sunt dintre cele mai diverse. De la Prodigy al carui fan declarat este pana la The Cure. De la Kraftwerk pana la James Zabiela. De la Pink Floyd la Radiohead. De la New Order si Joy Division la Chemical Brothers si Moderat. Lista este atat de vasta si imposibil de epuizat ceea ce intareste afirmatia ca, pentru a fi un dj cu adevarat bun, pe langa tehnica, trebuie sa ai o cultura muzicala de invidiat, o lectie pe care Notsocommon si-a insusit-o pe deplin.

A inceput sa mixeze in 2006 in Cool Cat unde fiecare seara de joi il gasea in spatele pupitrului. Tot in 2006 a mixat in legendarul Web Club alaturi de Marika. De atunci au urmat noi si noi locatii printre care Expirat si The Other Side of Expirat, Fratelli, Embryo, Mash-up, Sub Bufet, La Blanca, Propaganda, Space, Kulturhaus, Sex Tower Underground Power, Festivalul Penisula (2009), Palatul Universul.

Varietatea de stiluri pe care le abordeaza in seturile sale nu face altceva decat sa il confirme ca un dj versatil, capabil sa mixeze booty and funky breaks, dar si electro si industrial, trecand prin alternative indie, dubstep si ajungand pana la house si techno.

Pana acum are la activ deja 2 nominalizari la premiile Nights la categoriile „Cel mai bun dj debutantâ€? si „Cea mai mare ascensiuneâ€?.

In 2009 a debutat in eter la Radio Bucuresti, fiind in fiecare miercuri gazda emisiunii Electrocord, prima emisiune de muzica electronica de la postul respectiv, reusind de asemenea si performanta de a fi cel mai tanar dintre colegii sai de radio. Printre invitatii pe care i-a avut se numara atat artisti romani cat si straini precum: Junkyard; Marika; Unu; TRG; The Model; Ok Coral; VRT; Mesmer; Adrian Patrascu; Negru; Michi etc; straini: Elite Force; A-Skillz; Meat Katie; Atomic Hooligan (Terry).

Mai nou il gasiti pe Notsocommon alaturi de Bully, in Dirty Dance Squad, cu un arsenal de muzici bune gata sa va faca sa dansati pana in zori.
